Qmedtrix Hires New Controller

PORTLAND, OR, March 21, 2007–Qmedtrix Systems, Inc. has hired Cheryl Comrie as corporate controller. Ms. Comrie brings 15 years of financial accounting experience and 10 years of supervisory experience to the position. She will be responsible for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, auditing and tax preparation for Qmedtrix.

She began her career in public accounting at Deloitte & Touche LLP, gaining knowledge in the industries of health care, technology, and real estate. She attained the rank of senior auditor before leaving to accept an associate vice president and controller position with Norris, Beggs & Simpson, a regional commercial real estate, property management, and finance company.

Most recently, Ms. Comrie was the vice president of finance with National Loan Acquisition Company (NLAC), a local investment and finance company specializing in commercial real estate mortgages, where she helped build the company to $100 million in investment loan portfolio.

Ms. Comrie obtained a B.A. in Accounting from University of Oregon. She holds a Certified Public Accountant’s license and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of CPAs.
