Qmedtrix offers its negotiation product, Qmedworx®, to all ASI clients for their medical facility claims that are out-of-network. The business partner agreement allows Qmedtrix to use the existing ASI EDI bridge to obtain claims from ASI clients using LuminX. This reduces the need for manual sorting and sending of out-of-network claims – such as inpatient and outpatient facility fees, emergency room visits, implants and ambulance costs – saving time and money by automating the process and ensuring that out-of-network claims are not missed. It also grants ASI’s clients access to Qmedtrix’s out-of-network negotiation services, resulting in re-priced claims that are fair and reasonable and avoids the balance billing of patients.

Qmedworx is designed to supplement existing secondary or wrap networks to maximize the opportunity for savings. The service compares subscriber patient claims with like claims paid in the same geographic area to determine an appropriate reimbursement level for the subscriber patient claim.
