Qmedtrix Selected as Business of the Year By The Better Business Bureau

PORTLAND, October 8, 2004–With its mission to promote the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) serving Oregon and Western Washington, selected Qmedtrix as Business of the Year winner in the large business category.

The recognition honors Qmedtrix’s excellence in the areas of business ethics and integrity; customer service; community involvement; and innovative business practices.

“Perhaps above all awards we’ve previously received, this recognition is most significant and most meaningful,” said Mike Raffaele, president and COO. “It recognizes not only the quality of our work and our success in the marketplace, but it also recognizes our impact on the industry and society. It’s a solid affirmation that we are moving in the right direction, ever closer to our goal of reforming health care.”

Qmedtrix received the Business of the Year award among companies with more than 50 employees. Along with other winners in specific areas of customer service, community involvement, and innovative business practices, Qmedtrix was honored at a ceremony held Oct. 7 at the Hilton Portland and Executive Tower.

“We were elated to present Qmedtrix with the 2004 Business of the Year Award,” said Robert W.G. Andrew, CEO and president of the Better Business Bureau. “Their business outlook towards customers, employees and their community should serve as a model for other businesses aspiring to the same level of excellence.”
