National Council of Self-Insurers (NCSI)

The National Council of Self-Insurers is a national organization of corporate, state association and professional members devoted to the self-insurance of workers' compensation. Created in 1946, the NCSI has always believed that the workers compensation system, properly administered by the states, is a vital part of the economic and social fabric of the United States of America. The Council aims to preserve it and to protect it as the most effective means of resolving claims for industrial and occupational injuries and diseases between the employers and employees. The Council represents 3500 employers.
