Auto Medical
Qmedtrix’s Strategic Auto Negotiation is not a prompt pay discount off of billed charges. Instead, we review each bill to determine if the coding accurately reflects the procedures performed and facility usage. Our process incorporates a physician-based understanding of medical bill review and analysis supported with multiple data elements all of which allow us to identify billing errors such as upcoding, unbundling, egregious mark-ups (e.g., implants) and medically unlikely events.
Qmedtrix determines accurate and reasonable payment by using public and private data accumulated and continuously updated over our 14-year history. Using this data, Qmedtrix negotiators educate providers and discuss a mutually acceptable payment within any applicable regulatory parameters or auto policy provisions. This approach results in savings for the payer and fair reimbursement to the provider.
A signed settlement agreement is obtained from the representative to prevent balance billing to the payer, patient, member, or policyholder. Auto medical negotiation is available in every state except Minnesota, Kentucky and Oregon. New York negotiators are fully certified.
